Contract Lifecycle Management

A contract management system built to cut financial risk and drive sustainability

Tellis® Contract Lifecycle Management empowers your organization to proactively manage risk, obligations, and resources across your entire supplier portfolio.

With customisable contract segmentation based on risk levels, automated action plans, and structured monitoring tools, you gain full visibility into your most critical agreements. Including the ability to evaluate them against sustainability criteria such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the Global Compact, and key environmental and social benchmarks.

Focus where it matters most and use a contract management system to reduce financial risk, and turn contract management into a strategic advantage.

Get more value from your contracts. A strong contract management solution gives you clearer oversight, more efficient workflows and greater control over costs and risks.

Make sustainability an active part of contract management. In Tellis, you can assess contracts against relevant environmental and social criteria, including the extent to which suppliers align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the UN Global Compact and other environmental and social parameters. This gives you a clearer basis for setting priorities, following up and turning your organisation’s CSR objectives into practical action.

The contract’s sustainability assessment can also contribute to the sustainability score shown on orders placed with the relevant supplier. This means the assessment does not remain confined to the contract. Instead, it carries through to the digital purchasing process, where it can help users make more informed and responsible choices.

Having control over the risk profile of contracts, including delivery reliability, supplier dependency, political risk, and contract expirations, is essential for maintaining a realistic perspective.

The system makes it easy to segment each contract, offering a clear and comprehensive risk overview of the entire contract portfolio.

Tellis makes it possible to decentralise contract management without giving every user access to the entire contract portfolio.

Using permission groups and contract templates, users can be granted read or write access to the contracts relevant to their role. Access can be limited to their own contracts, contracts belonging to their department or contracts across the entire organisation. The selected scope also applies to the segmentation matrix and the user’s contract extracts.

Visibility in the procurement system can also be managed at both user and organisational level. This allows responsibility to be placed closer to the relevant business areas, while the central contract management function maintains a shared and controlled framework for access and governance.

Tellis makes it possible to connect responsibility and follow-up directly to contract management.

When an activity is created from an action plan in the segmentation process, the responsible person and the relevant notification can be assigned within the same workflow. This makes the next step clearer and reduces the need for separate reminder lists.

Contracts can also be set to archive automatically when they expire. Where an option period should be activated automatically, this can be selected during setup. These features help keep contract statuses up to date, but they do not replace the professional decision on whether to renew, terminate or exercise an option.

When contract management is digitized, it frees up valuable time and resources while ensuring that the contract portfolio is well-managed, especially regarding risk management.

It also strengthens supplier relationships by facilitating continuous follow-up, creating the best conditions for long-term, mutually beneficial cooperation.

Clear monitoring and adherence to relevant legislation anchors compliance within management, providing more space for innovation when the contract landscape is transparent and well-structured.

Need a quick overview of how your contracts are performing? Tellis® Contract Lifecycle Management has automated action plans and project management tools are tied to a built in health measurement for each contract.

This gives you a clear, real time view of whether a contract is on track with the organisation’s guidelines and expectations. If something is off, it is easy to spot and even easier to follow up with your suppliers.

To accommodate the increasing focus on GDPR legislation, compliance needs to be built in, not bolted on. That is why you can instantly flag whether a contract includes a data processing agreement and link it to a dedicated GDPR register.

The GDPR register can capture exactly what type of data is involved, who it concerns, and where it lives. You can also define deletion rules, assign reminders, and manage related activities. When needed, all GDPR linked contracts are just a search away, giving you control and peace of mind.

Deadlines will not be overlooked anymore. Built in contract notifications keep your team a step ahead by flagging upcoming renewals, expiries, and key milestones automatically.

You choose what matters most and the system takes care of the rest. The result? Fewer surprises, better risk management, and more time to focus on the work that drives results.

When an organisational change or a shift in responsibility affects multiple contracts, users can select several active contracts and update the relevant template fields in one action. The contract overview can also be filtered by measurement and sorted by responsible person, making it easier to narrow down the portfolio based on the relevant follow-up and ownership.

This makes contract maintenance more manageable, especially when the portfolio is too large for changes to be made one contract at a time.
