The Challenge
The goal was crystal clear: reduce physical purchases, cut down on manual invoices and significantly increase digital transactions. At the same time, the municipality wanted to embed sustainability directly into contract management – making it visible which contracts support which UN Sustainable Development Goals. Their previous system simply couldn’t deliver the level of insight and control the procurement team needed.
The fact that risk assessments and sustainability are built into contracts is crucial. We need to know which agreements align with which global goals. That was a key reason we were drawn to Intellis’ contract management solution.
– Lars Dyreborg-Gunslev, Head of Procurement, Høje-Taastrup Municipality
The challenge also centred on data. To gain real transparency and improve follow-up across procurement activities, the municipality needed stronger integration between contract management, e-procurement and their finance system.

The Solution
Tellis® stood out as a different kind of system, one designed to serve as the backbone of a unified public procurement structure. With its built-in sustainability module and risk tracking features, Høje-Taastrup can now document exactly how its contracts contribute to the UN goals and identify where extra attention is needed.
But Tellis® isn’t just another tool you log into. It’s a living part of the daily workflow. It simplifies digital purchasing, distributes responsibilities across the organisation and automates follow-ups. The result is a user friendly platform that enables clear action, easy documentation and solid cross-functional analysis. And thanks to Intellis’ open development approach, the system continues to evolve in step with the municipality’s needs.
Intellis has a much more progressive view of how solutions should be developed. What we’ve seen in Tellis® is extremely strong – and it really feels like we’ve taken a step up.
– Jan Hansen, Procurement Consultant, Høje-Taastrup Municipality
The Result
Today, Høje-Taastrup is working with a solution that does more than just manage contracts. It delivers insight, direction and coherence. End users and procurement professionals alike feel the difference in usability, and that translates into measurable impact. Data flows more freely, decisions are made faster, and sustainability is no longer an afterthought, it’s fully integrated throughout the entire contract lifecycle.
