The challenge
Ishøj Municipality has been working hard to get eprocurement up and running across the organisation. Making that shift involves more than just changing processes. It’s also a cultural shift. And just as importantly, it requires a system that people can quickly get the hang of and actually see the point of using.
What stood out in this case was how well things can work in smaller departments, as long as there’s a solid collaboration, regular checkins and a clear initial alignment of expectations. Søren really gave it everything he had on this project.

The solution
The experience in Ishøj clearly shows that every department, no matter the size, can benefit from using Tellis®. The key is to tailor the implementation to suit the organisation’s specific needs and the resources available.

Tellis® was praised for its user friendly interface and intuitive design. The purchasing module, in particular, was a hit with both the procurement team and end users. Features like favourites, baskets and shareable lists made a real difference. The ability to share across teams was an instant favourite.

The result
In May 2024, Ishøj Municipality wrapped up their Tellis® implementation, with project manager Anna and procurement consultant Søren Roslef ticking off the final box in the process.
The project took a little longer than average due to the size of the procurement department, but that didn’t take away from the experience. If anything, both parties described the implementation as a success. Well executed, collaborative and thorough from start to finish.
One of our most important tasks is to understand our customers’ needs and align expectations before we start any implementation. That way, we can tailor the process to each organisation.
