Pick-and-mix candy, sustainability and strong dialogues at IKA 2025
We are back from the IKA Annual Conference 2025
The conference brought together public purchasers and suppliers in Kolding on 10–11 September, this year as a special 40th anniversary edition in a “folkemøde” format.
We returned with a strong confirmation that sustainable procurement systems must be a built-in standard rather than a temporary campaign. There was clear interest in how data transparency and simple documentation can support greener choices, and we saw once again that even small design decisions can have a major impact on behaviour.
We had the chance to show how our solutions make sustainability concrete and tangible in daily work. We demonstrated the sustainability score in practice, where small nudges in the e-procurement flow help users choose greener alternatives directly within the purchasing process.
Thank you for all the great conversations. It was a pleasure meeting both familiar and new faces, showcasing our demos and sharing a more informal moment at our stand, where the pick-and-mix candy proved to be a sure hit. The joint dinner fostered strong networking ties in a relaxed atmosphere.
We are now back at the office with renewed energy, fresh input and concrete ideas that are already making their way into our development roadmap.
Sustainability only works when it’s easy in everyday life. Our sustainability score helps purchasers choose greener options without making procurement more complex.
