Fredensborg municipality has long taken a structured approach to contract management. So when it came time to find a new digital solution, segmentation was naturally placed at the centre. The goal was clear: build a complete overview and fully digitise the manual workflows that still lingered.
The municipality needed a single system that could handle both structure and scale. They were looking for a digital flow to simplify contract handling, make information easier to locate and share, and support proactive follow-up.
Crucially, the system had to accommodate different contract types and varying levels of responsibility across departments. Their segmentation model was central to this and required a solution that could adapt to that logic, not the other way around.
